Spot Details

-Wind is usually sideshore, predominantly from the north.

-Big beach with freshwater showers close by.

-Surfers occasionally use this spot, so watch for them.

-Weekends have a lot of beachgoers, weekdays the beach is mostly empty.

-Do not kite in swimming areas that have been marked out with flags by the lifeguards.

-Fairly large shore break approximately 30m from shore where there is a sand bar.

-Street parking available at multiple cul-de-sacs along the beach

-UV is very strong, so always use sunscreen and a rashguard in spring/summer and sunscreen and shorty or 2 or 3mm full wetsuit in fall/winter. Most locals wear sunglasses and hat on the water.
